Humantechnik Telephone Amplifier PL-51

The Humantechnik PL-51 is a telephone amplifier for the hard of hearing who simply want a little more volume when making phone calls. It is battery operated and very easy to use. With an easy to feel slider you can increase the volume of the phone call even during the conversation. With another slider, you can change the sound of the voice as you see fit. This way, you can use your phone to make calls as you normally would and hear the conversation at the volume you prefer.

How it works:

Pull the handset off the telephone set and plug the handset cable into the socket provided on the PL-51. Plug the connection cable of the sound processor into the telephone - where the handset was plugged in before. That's it. Your normal telephone now becomes a telephone that effortlessly compensates for mild to moderate hearing loss. The gain of the PL-51 can be increased by up to 35 dB using the sliders. This allows you to understand the person you are talking to loudly, clearly and distinctly, just the way you want.

A handy extra is the additional amplification. As long as you hold down the corresponding button, the PL-51 doubles the set volume. So you can quickly respond to changing interlocutors.
