What's a hearing aid?
The term is used in the hearing aid a device that can be better understood by sounds and language. To acquire a hearing aid, a hearing must be severe or difficult. at least there is a hearing reduction. It may be the age-related hearing, but also a hearing loss caused by permanent volume intake is not rare. The reasons for such hearing are therefore very diverse. The range of listening aids on the market is also as diverse.

Age hardship is still among the most common reasons for obtaining a hearing aid. This is not the only reason: too loudly adjusted MP3 players or constantly high noise levels in the everyday environment can cause permanent hearing damage.
The two types of hearing aids:
- Back-to-ear hearing aids (HdO hearing aids)
- In-ear hearing aids (IdO hearing aids)
The back-to-ear hearing device – the hearing aid behind the ear
These hearing aids are fixed behind the ears. They either have a sound hose or an external receiver. This will pass the signals from the device directly to your hearing. The performance of your device is all the greater, the greater the hearing aid itself. You can remember this rule of thumb before.
This not only gives the necessary space for the technology, but also allows better, larger batteries to be inserted.
If you suffer from a very strong hearing loss, you should get a rather large hearing aid. But make sure you understand the right thing under a big hearing aid. With the aged devices from the past, modern hearing aids have absolutely nothing in common. Just a few years ago, regular bubbles were used. The meat-colored hooks are no longer available.
You can now enjoy a small powerful computer in your ear or behind your ear. The design is particularly discreet, and you also have a lot of possibilities for your personal individualization of the hearing aid.
Did you know that the back-to-ear listening aids are the most popular in all? More than 90% of all hearing damaged people choose to take this form.
In-ear hearing aids as a near-invisible solution
As you most likely suspect by the name name, the in-ear listeners are also placed in your ear. They're right in your ear canal.
Because of this special positioning, in-ear listeners are also smaller than the variants attached behind your ears. Primaryly, the small forms can be used when you suffer from mild to medium hearing loss. In general, these cannot achieve the same performance as the larger relatives, because the construction is so small.
The im-ear listeners have an immense advantage, however, because they are above average discreet. You can put these devices in your ears almost invisible.
The in-ear hearing devices are divided into three types:
- concha listener
- hearing hearing apparatus
- CIC listening device
Concha hearing aids are in the part of your hearing duct that is still visible. That's why they're the biggest devices of their kind. In the case of an auditory duct system, the device is placed in the deeper ear duct of your ears. CIC listener, in turn, sits completely in the ear canal. They are the smallest and are used in minor deafness.
